Privacy Policy

1. Operator

T-Lang is operated by an independent developer. For privacy-related inquiries, please open an issue at github.com/ninja9998877/t-lang.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your email address through Firebase Authentication (operated by Google). You may also sign in with your Google account, in which case we receive your Google email and display name. Account data is stored and managed by Google Firebase.

Usage Data

We collect aggregate usage statistics including:

• Number of compression requests
• Token counts (original and compressed)
• Timestamp of requests

This data is stored in Cloudflare KV storage on the global edge network.

What We Do NOT Collect

• Prompt content — Your prompts are processed in-memory for compression and never stored, logged, or retained
• LLM responses — The CLI calls your LLM provider directly; responses never pass through our servers
• Provider API keys — Your OpenAI, Gemini, Grok, or other provider API keys are stored locally on your machine only and never sent to T-Lang servers

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the compression service
• To display usage statistics in your dashboard
• To enforce free tier daily limits (20 compressions/day)
• To improve the compression engine using aggregate, anonymized statistics only

4. Data Storage and Security

Account data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud). Usage statistics are stored in Cloudflare KV. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. T-Lang API keys are hashed before storage.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication (Google) — User login via email/password or Google sign-in
• Cloudflare Workers & KV — Compression API and usage data storage

Your LLM provider (OpenAI, Google Gemini, xAI Grok, DeepSeek, Groq, etc.) is called directly by the CLI on your machine. T-Lang never proxies or sees those requests.

6. Cookies

We use Firebase Authentication session cookies for login. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics) are used.

7. Data Retention

Usage statistics are retained for 12 months. Account data is retained until you delete your account. You may request full data deletion by opening an issue on our GitHub repository.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your usage data via the dashboard
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Request a copy of your stored data

9. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
